Surf or just be a spectator at famous surfing spots, Velzyland, Backyards, Kammies and Sunset Beach just short drives away, and Haleiwa Ali'i Beach (Home of Bay Watch) is within walking distance. In the Winter, watch in amazement as the best big wave surfers toll surf 20+ feet swells. Between December and May, watch Humpback whales frolic in the ocean. Snorkel at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach or dive at Sharks Cove just a few miles away. Enjoy peaceful, private walks on the sandy beaches overlooking crystal, blue ocean, or on the mountain paths. Dine at great resturants in Haleiwa Town or at the variety of roadside eateries. Golf at Turtle Bay Hilton. Enjoy the quality tourist attractions.... Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Valley Park, Pupukea Heiau (ancient burial grounds)and many hiking trails, including some that begin at the house. The North Shore is also famous for its other water sports, including windsurfing, kayaking, water skiing, sailing, and horseback riding. Pretty much anything you want to do here, we can point you in the right direction!
